Flotilla 44 is certified by the US Coast Gaurd and licensed by State of New Jersey to offer the Courses required for New Jersey Boatiing Certificate.
NJ Boating Law (Assembly Bill 2624) requires a boating license.

| Course Summary | Upon successful completion of the ABS course listed above, the student will receive a certification and a NJ State Boating Safety Certificate. The NJ State Boating Safety Certificate allows the individual to operate a personal watercraft and allow an individual to operate a recreational motorboat on NJ waters. |
